Bottom Line
For the total Aspen Snowmass unit and dollar sales year to date at end of April 2019, we are matching the same time period of 2017, a record sales performance year.
For April itself, results were a mixed bag: Aspen condo sales surged upwards 214%; Aspen single family home sales slowed -56% for the month
.
The month’s highlight was the number of properties that went under contract (UC’s are an indicator of future activity as most of these deals will likely close in May). It was a shot out of the park. For Aspen, April UC’s increased 33% to (28) from (21) last year; for Snowmass Village, UC’s spiked 163% to (21) from (8) last last April.
April sales of Aspen condos were up 214% in April with (22) sales over (7) the same time last year; For year to date, Aspen condo sales are up 35% to (50) sales through April from (37) last YTD;
Aspen single family homes sales for the month of April were down 56% with (4) sales) in April versus (9) last year; Aspen single family home sales for the year to date (YTD) were down 35% to (21) sales from (28) last YTD.
