Bottom Line: May 31, 2021: Overall, the Aspen Snowmass real estate market continues to show unprecedented strength in this re-opening period post Covid 19. For the past 11 months since July 2020, every month has registered record sales for its respective month. Year over year (YOY) metrics are staggering because we are comparing current sales to a year ago when the Covid 19 shut down almost all activity. In the absence of legitimate YOY comparisons and as Aspen Snowmass real estate activity is seasonal, I’ve included in the April 2021 Aspen Snowmass real estate market report snapshot comparisons to same periods 2020 and 2019 for a more meaningful perspective (posted May 10). The report covers overall sales numbers and sales broken down by property type and neighborhood.  The monthly reports are posted on or near the 1st Monday of the month.
