08/03/20 Bottom Line: The market is in hyper-drive at present, more intense in a concentrated, condensed period of time than it ever was in 2007 and 2008. In the past few weeks, there have been (70+) new contracts in the upper Roaring Fork Valley. Last week, (11) properties with ask prices over $10M went under contract with one of them at an ask of $29.5M. There are multiple offers, competitive bidding situations, counter proposals being withdrawn in favor of a sudden higher offer that comes in before the buyer has time to accept the counter.
